IHT는 "THE GLOBAL EDITION OF THE NEW YORK TIMES" 라는군요.
얼마전까지는 이런 설명이 없어서 좀 헷갈렸었는데, 최근에는 아예 이렇게 붙이고 나옵디다.
일단 NYT에 나오는 한국관련기사는(미국 국내 교포관련 같은건 뺴고) IHT에서도 거의 똑같이 나오더군요.
여튼, 중요한건 이게 아니고...

이렇게 노골적으로 찍으면 좀...
아침에 받아본 종이신문에선 그나마 1면에
"Protests in Seoul galvanize Koreans" 라고 제목을 달고, 4면에
"National pride animates South Koreans"라고 해놨는데,
인터넷에서는 그냥 톱으로 "민족주의"가 핵심이라고 올려버렸으니...
"Whether a South Korean leader can navigate such nationalistic sentiment can make or break his career."
=>"이러한 민족주의적 감정을 잘 헤쳐나갈수 있는지 여부에 남한지도자의 성패가 달려있다"
"Many analysts in Seoul draw a careful line between nationalism and anti-Americanism among Koreans. They say these demonstrations are more an expression of the first than the latter. But the divide sometimes is very thin."
=>한국인들의 민족주의와 반미감정 사이에는 차이가 있긴하지만, 어떤 경우에는 별 차이가 안날때도 있다...

여튼 오늘 인터넷 들어가보니까 열심히 NYT,WP 적어나르고 있던데, 이건 어떻게 처리할지 한번 봐야겠습니다.
